I Channel My Inner 14-Year-Old

[Giant Glass]

So I'm watching the Red Sox. The Giant Glass ad is on the backstop wall. A lefty hitter is up, and … Heh! Am I the only person who's noticed this?

No, I'm not.

Not even close.

People have noticed this for years.

Here's someone who noticed in 2005.

Mr. Lugubrious also noticed in 2005.

In 2006, Hardball Heaven found that C. C. Sabathia made an ass of himself.

In fact, there's speculation that it's all done on purpose.

Some just point this out in blog comments.

Even on blogs devoted to other teams.

Bill Simmons has been asked about it.

But to a certain mentality, it's always reliably funny.
